About Us

Our office is located in the Mission District of San Francisco. We are at 2588 Mission Street at 22nd Street. We are 2 blocks away from Mission 24th Street BART Station. In addition to metered street parking, there is additional inexpensive parking at the Bartlett Street Garage, located between Valencia and Mission streets, with the entrance on 21st Street.

Our mission at International Chiropractic Centre is to provide high-quality care that is affordable the diverse population in our community. We strive to not only correct a person's health problems, but to educate and enlighten people so that they do not encounter similar problems in the future. We provide acute care for pain relief, and teach individualized progressive rehabilitative strenthening exercise routines for sub-acute and chronic care.

Everyone in our staff is multilingual to better serve our diverse community. Our staff can speak fluent Portuguese and Spanish.

We offer a variety of manual techniques, as well as on-site digital x-ray services.

Manuel M. Fonseca, DC, QME CCSP, FIAMA, DACRB

Dr. Fonseca completed his undergraduate studies at California State University-Stanislaus where he received a Bachellor of Science in Biological Sciences and Minor in Chemistry and Spanish, 1990.

He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West, 1994.

He has extensive postgraduate training in chiropractic sports medicine, chiropractic rehabilitation, and non-invasive meridian therapy.

In addition, Dr. Fonseca is a board Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. He is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board and is a Fellow of the International Academy of Medical Acupunture.

Dr. Fonseca has been a State of California appointed Qualified Medical Evaluator since 1998. He is a Fellow of the American Back Society, member of the California Chiropractic Association, member of the American Chiropractic Association, member of the American Academy of Chiropractic Physicians, member of the American Academy of Pain Management, and a supporting member of the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedics.

He is also the current San Francisco District director for the California Chiropractic Association.
